The Challenge
NexGen Fitness is a growing private personal training franchise with studios in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, California, Missouri, New York and the Carolinas, and more on the way.
The work began with a strategy question: how do you build one website for a very niche business that has to win over two completely different audiences? Future franchise owners need to see a proven business worth investing in. People looking for a personal trainer need to find the studio closest to them and book a session. And because the franchise keeps growing, the site had to make it quick and easy to add a page for each new studio.

The Strategy
A Plan for the Whole Franchise
We reviewed each studio’s online presence, its local competitors and its market, then built a franchise-wide marketing plan with a set of optional services each location can choose. Reporting dashboards keep corporate and every owner on the same page.
One Website, Two Audiences
We designed and built nexgenfitness.com with a clear path for each audience: an Own a NexGen section that makes the case to future franchise owners, and a page for every studio where local clients can learn about training and book through Mindbody. New locations launch on the same proven layout, and we host and maintain the site.
Found in Every Neighborhood
Each location page is built to show up for people searching near that studio, on Google and in AI search answers. Google Business Profiles and reviews are managed for the locations that choose it.
Ads for Each Studio’s Market
Google Search and Local Services Ads, ChatGPT ads and Meta ads run for each participating location, aimed at the people most likely to book nearby. We also design NexGen’s direct mail postcards and the ads they run in magazines, so print carries the same bold look as everything online.
Staying in Touch with Members
Social posts, email and SMS messaging through Mindbody, and seasonal campaigns keep current members engaged and bring new ones in during the busiest times of year.
A Standard Every Location Can Follow
NexGen-owned accounts, consistent standards for every studio, and a clear onboarding path for coming-soon locations mean each new franchise starts with marketing that’s already working.
The Work
Analyze
We started with research into each studio’s online presence, its local competitors and its market, then set up reporting so NexGen corporate and every owner can see what’s working.
Every location has its own reporting dashboard, and NexGen corporate has an overall view of the franchise. Google Ads, Local Services Ads, Google Analytics, Meta ads, Google Business Profile, ChatGPT ads, Instagram and Facebook all report in one place, so owners can see what brings clients into their studio and corporate can compare locations and decide where to invest next.

Design
NexGen is a technology-driven brand. Training is powered by state-of-the-art cardio with NexGen IGNITE™ Cardio, NexGen RECOVERY™, the NexGen Inspire™ workout tracking app, the NexGen NUTRITION™ app, body analysis and metabolic testing equipment. We wanted the website to feel just as advanced, so the design uses bold colors, bold fonts and bold layouts throughout.
We designed the site around NexGen’s two audiences. Future franchise owners get an Own a NexGen section that makes the case for the business, and local clients get a page for each studio with its trainers, photos and an easy way to book a free session through Mindbody. Every new studio launches on the same layout, so the brand stays consistent as the franchise grows.

Optimize & Manage
Every month we run and refine the marketing that brings new clients in: search and AI visibility for every studio, reviews, social media, email and SMS through Mindbody, paid campaigns on Google, ChatGPT and Meta, and print ads in local magazines.
Each location’s campaigns are built for its own neighborhood, with ads and offers that bring people into that studio. We review the results every month, shift budget to what’s working, and keep the brand looking the same across search, social, email and print.
